1 Year Foundation Course
£1,050.00 per term (3 terms per year)
Registration Fee: £180

Assisted places and scholarships are available for students in difficulties.

Once acceptance to the course a registration fee of £180.00 is required at the time of reserving your place (non-refundable).

Two terms written notice must be given to withdraw from the Academy, or the full fees paid in lieu. No fees are returnable in the case of any student leaving after the beginning of term for illness or any other reason.


The Audition Day
All students will be invited to spend the day with us at MADD, and take part in a short Jazz Dance Class, which may also feature a Classical Ballet barre, where you will also be taught a short Jazz routine by a tutor of the college. This will be followed by a short Vocal class. You will then have to opportunity to present the following;

Applicants for the 3 year Musical Theatre Diploma
1 - a Song
2 - a Monologue
3 - a Dance solo of any style, maximum 2 minutes

Applicants for the 1 year Foundation Course
Please choose two of the following;
1 - a Song
2 - a Monologue
3 - a Dance solo in any style

What Happens Next?
You will be notified within 2 weeks of your audition of your acceptance or non-acceptance. If you are accepted you will receive further information about the course, term dates, and what is required of you.




Entry into the college is by audition and interview, for students with a minimum age of 16 years. More mature students are also welcome to apply as entry requirements are dependant upon potential, talent, attitude, and the determination to succeed.

Audition Criteria
You will need to show the following to be accepted onto the course.

1 - An all round talent with potential for training and development for employment within a multi-skilled industry.

2 - A very good sense of musicality.

3 - Personality and presence.

4 - Determination and a positive attitude.
