Course Description
The Dance Diploma covers a thorough grounding in technique and performance in subjects, Ballet, Jazz various styles, Contemporary Lyrical, Tap, Latin, Ballroom, Partner work, Choreography, Notation, Fitness/conditioning, , Audition techniques, Professional development, Ensemble singing, Health and safety in training and Performing, Nutrition and other contextual studies to assist the development of skills and understanding needed by the performers of today.
There are opportunities to perform in both the Frances Clayton studio theatre and external theatres in Nottingham and other locations. High profile Industry Professionals, Choreographers and Directors teach at MADD, plus visiting personnel offering close links and direct access into the performing arts industry for MADD students in Theatre, West End, Tours in the UK and Worldwide, Cruise Ships, TV and Film.
The College is affiliated to the National Union of Students and students can apply for a Totum Card which entitles discounts from a large number of outlets.
MADD College has charity status therefore Students will also have the opportunity to receive an assisted place based on a means tested financial assessment of parental financial status.
Course Fees
Autumn term £3168.00, Spring term £3166.00, Summer term £3166.00 – Total per year £9500.00.
A registration fee of £285.00 (non-refundable) is payable on acceptance of the place offered. A monthly payment scheme is available.
Fees per term : The Autumn term fees are payable in advance on 1st August. The Spring and Summer term fees can be paid in 6 monthly instalments by standing order (January – June inclusive) or paid at the beginning of the Spring and Summer terms. Payments to be made by BACS transfer.
